Stepping out of your bubble
Hi, I am Kerry Paul
“A global business leader exploring alternative perspectives on key issues”
I enjoy challenging people by asking questions and presenting different views to encourage critical thinking. This approach has been effective in raising my sons and throughout my career as a CEO with a focus on global strategy. Researching and understanding the facts about any situation is key to generating feasible options to move forward. Most people respond positively, improving their performance, adopting a solution-oriented mindset, and seizing opportunities for self-improvement.

After years of working 24/7, I reinvented myself by establishing “My Projects,” unpaid activities for my physical and mental well-being and helping others. I continue to challenge people’s thinking. One major project is traveling to key countries to study the interrelationships between people, place, and environment, and how these vary spatially and temporally across and between locations.

Books
Another major project has been writing and publishing three family-oriented books to give family members a sense of belonging and their place in New Zealand history. A fourth book, “Going Global,” teaches New Zealanders how to start and establish a global branded consumer business.

Businesses
My 45-year career has always had a global focus, building successful relationships in over 50 countries. In the last 20 years I started, built and exited five companies, the most notable being Manuka Health New Zealand. A key personal capability to achieve the business relationships is being empathetic to diverse views, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, religion, culture, or socio-economic status.

KerryPaul.co.nz expands readers' awareness and knowledge on relevant topics they may not have the opportunity to investigate themselves. I have spent countless hours researching the countries I visit and their influence on the world. In particular I have carried out extensive investigations into my own country, New Zealand covering a wide range of topics from who were its first human inhabitants through to modern day issues.
